... you are asked daily if you are having twins by complete strangers.
... the simpliest chore feels more like running a marathon.
... you can't find that perfect spot when trying to fall asleep.
... when you do finally find it, you discover that you need to make a trip to the bathroom.
... flip flops are your best friend.
... your life suddenly revolves around when you think the baby is going to be born and what happens if he's early/late.
... you see your midwife more than your friends.
... your toddler son points at your belly and says, "Ball".
... trying to squeeze through a tight spot, you decide that your are skinnier walking forward than walking sidways.

zach update
Last Monday, we were able to have our second ultrasound with Zach. For those of you who didn't know, in our first ultrasound we were concerned about the fact that the technician could not find a left kidney for our little boy. So, we wanted to have a follow-up just to know. The ultrasound was a lot of fun this time around since he had grown a lot in the last 10 weeks, and he was posing for us.
We did find out that it appears that Zach is indeed missing his left kidney. As disappointing as this may seem, we are pleased that his right kidney is functioning perfectly, providing enough fluid for him while in utero. We've also been assured many times that people with only one kidney live perfectly normal and healthy lives. He just will never have the option of donating the one kidney he has.
Everything else looks really good. He's a tad bit on the large side (big surprise - ha). He was breech during the ultrasound, but at our midwife appointment this week, we found that he has already turned head down. No wonder he seemed so busy!
Here are a few pictures of him at 29 weeks. I think he looks a lot more like Noah than the first ones we saw of him.
