1. Currently has 11 teeth, with about 5 molars on their way. Although he's got a beautiful smile, we are dealing with a lot of teething pain, and cold yogurt and infant tylenol are our best friends.
2. Talks a lot. He learns a couple of new words every week. Some of the words he says are: please, cheese, ducks, doggie, mommy, daddy, shoes, belly.
3. Turned 15 months yesterday! Christmas is his birthday.
4. We stopped trying to potty-train in December. Having guests, learning to walk, and eating better all hindered the development. Mommy hopes to try again soon, but we'll see.
5. When prompted, he will often show you where parts of his body are including: belly, nose, ear, mouth, hand, toes, foot.
6. Loves the indoor playground at Shoreline. He especially loves to push other kids in the cars (now, if only they WANTED to be pushed).
7. Wants to do everything adults can do. He would love to get water out of the fridge, drink from a glass, put detergent in the washer, sweep the floor, used the computer, etc. He gets quite frustrated when he is unable to do those sorts of things.
8. His initials spell his name: Noah Obadiah Augustine Hagelberg. We have destined him for failure when he must be able to spell his entire name in the first grade. =)
9. Loves to read books with mommy and daddy. He'll even flip through books on his own in the car.
10. Getting pretty good at feeding himself with a spoon. It still ends up all over the place eventually, but the first few bites are pretty clean! (Mommy really likes the sleeved bibs she found at IKEA.)
11. Got a haircut yesterday. Pictures to follow. Mommy did it this time!
12. Infatuated with music. He loves to dance to whatever music we have on, and he'll bob his head at the mere mention of the word, "music."
13. Really enjoys watching Blue's Clues on mommy's computer.
14. Still nursing a few times a day. May or may not be weaned before brother or sister comes in August. We'll have to see.
15. Likes to play with anything technological. He already knows how to turn on mommy's camera and then proceed to take pictures with it. Here are some of his early photos.

17. Enjoys playing in the shower (with or without clothing). Bathtime is fun too!
18. Started walking at 11 months. Not bad considering he was in his cast for both months nine and ten.
19. Will not have any cousins near his age since all of his uncles are younger than mommy and daddy, and most aren't even dating. Thank goodness for second cousins that are in similar situations. ;-)
20. Has flown in a plane more than most people do in a few years. San Francisco at 2 months, Los Angeles/San Diego at 4 and 12 months. Hawaii at 8 months. (Mommy has NO desire to do any such traveling when baby #2 arrives for quite some time!)
21. Would much rather play in one of the neighbors' yards than his own. (Must have something to do with the dozens of balls they have in their front yard.)
22. Currently wears 24 month tops, 18 month pants, and size 6 shoes.
23. Has an unnatural obsession with toothbrushes.
24. Already is starting the terrible twos. Does this mean that he'll be done before the baby comes?
25. Started sleeping through the night recently! Yay!
